I can't swallow tablets, can you crush Khapregesic®?

Here’s the customer Q&A

Q. Hi Clare, I’m looking for pain relief for my daughter with her periods. She just turned 16 and she really suffers from pain. I need to find medication that we can crush or liquid will be even better. She cannot swallow tablets 🙈

A. Hi Debbie*, you’re in luck, our daughter was averse to swallowing tablets at that age too, they do grow out of it. As a natural whole plant medication, you can crush up Khapregesic® and add it to food. It is really bitter, so something sweet like honey would be best as it is also an unrefined sugar, but just experiment to see what suits her. I’m sure it is better than the pain. Remember for best effect, take it 2-3 days before bleeding and for a duration of 7 days all up. If symptoms last longer than 7 days, just take one day off and start another 7 days.  All the best & good luck, Clare 🌸
